Summer Courses

Registering for Summer Courses

Summer course offerings can be found by visiting the Schedule of Courses, choosing Wilkes-Barre from the campus menu, and clicking search.

Penn State Students. Currently enrolled Penn State students may register for summer classes in LionPATH.

Non-Penn State Students. Graduates of accredited high schools or students with high school equivalency diplomas may register for undergraduate courses provided they meet course prerequisites. All non-Penn State students must complete the Undergraduate Non-Degree Enrollment Form. This form can be filled out online and then printed; forms must be returned to the Registrar’s Office at the campus where enrollment is planned:

Please Note: Enrollment as a non-degree student does not imply admission to the University. You must make formal application to be considered for admission as an undergraduate degree student.

Transfer of Credit

Students intending to transfer Penn State credits to another institution will need to complete a transcript request form at the end of summer session. Transcript request must be done through the Office of the University Registrar.

Tuition

All costs of attendance can be viewed at the University Budget Office’s Tuition and Fees Schedule web page.

Tuition Payment

Tuition payment is due by the first day of class of the earliest session in which you enroll. If you have not received a bill by the week prior to the start of your earliest session class, please contact the Finance Office at (570) 675‑9289.

Please refer any questions regarding payment, rates for dropped classes, withdrawals, or refund to the Finance Office.

Limited Enrollments and Cancellations

A maximum class size is established for most courses. The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any class because of insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.
