Bachelor’s Degrees

Penn State Wilkes-Barre offers students the ability to complete several baccalaureate, or bachelor's, degrees on this campus. Some majors offer specialized training and prepare students for employment in particular fields, while other majors provide students with theoretical preparation in a general area of learning along with the ability to choose from among several career possibilities within the given area of study.

Associate Degrees

Penn State Wilkes-Barre offers students the ability to complete four associate degrees on this campus. Majors that lead to two-year associate degrees provide concentrated instruction to prepare graduates for specialized occupational assignments, except for the Letters, Arts, and Sciences major, which provides graduates with a general education and some specialization in their fields of interest.

2+2 Plan

Some students choose to remain at one campus for all four years, while other students spend their first two years at one campus and transition to University Park or another campus for their remaining two years. No matter where you start, no matter where you finish, your degree will be a Penn State degree, one of the most respected in the country.
