Transfer Student Admission

At Penn State Wilkes-Barre the classes are small, the faculty is accessible and friendly, and the resources of a renowned Big Ten university await you!

Are you a transfer student?

A transfer student is someone who has earned a high school diploma or the equivalent and who has attempted at least 18 semester credits at other regionally accredited colleges or universities before enrolling at Penn State.

At Penn State Wilkes-Barre, you can access the resources of a major university while interacting with small, friendly classes and faculty you can get to know. Convenient class schedules, financial aid, career counseling, outstanding faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities all combine to make your education the best it can be.

Penn State Wilkes-Barre offers outstanding academic opportunities. More than 275 Penn State majors can be started at Penn State Wilkes-Barre and completed at University Park or another Penn State location. In addition, several bachelor’s and associate degree programs can be completed at this campus.
