Disability Services is the designated office that provides reasonable accommodations and services to students with disabilities who are enrolled at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. The Student Disability Services office:
- Requests and maintains disability-related documents
- Certifies eligibility for services
- Determines and develops plans for reasonable accommodations such as academic adjustments, auxiliary aids and/or services
Applying for Services
Students who are seeking services at Penn State Wilkes-Barre must self-disclose the need for academic adjustments, auxiliary aids and/or services to the Student Disabilities Services office.
Students will go through an intake process with the Disability Services Coordinator and will provide documentation supporting the request for accommodations.
