In order to be approved for the graduation list, students must notify the university of their intent to graduate at the beginning of the semester in which they hope to graduate. This can be done by using the “Apply for Graduation” link within the My Academics page in the LionPATH Student Center.
Graduation announcements will be mailed to all graduates. Penn State Wilkes-Barre typically holds commencement ceremonies once a year on the first Saturday in May after final exams are complete. Students who graduate in the summer or fall semesters are invited to participate in the May ceremony. All diplomas are mailed directly to the students’ homes following the ceremony.

Note: Graduating seniors may wish to purchase regalia (cap and gown), announcements, class rings, and more. Students can do so by visiting Josten’s online store for Penn State.
