Students at Penn State Wilkes-Barre can participate in a variety of club, intramural and intercollegiate sports. Penn State Wilkes-Barre is a member of Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), and competes for National Championships as a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). The USCAA also provides student-athletes with the opportunity for academic and athletic All-American honors.
The Athletic and Recreation Building (ARB) and its surrounding fields and courts offer a wide range of fitness options to our students, including specialized equipment and programs such as Pilates, Spinning and Yoga.
Although Penn State Wilkes-Barre does not have on-campus University-owned housing, there are a wide range of private rental units available where students can live while attending our campus.

The department of Police & Public Safety provides all law enforcement and security services to the Wilkes-Barre campus. Police & Public Safety is also responsible for parking enforcement and traffic control.
Police and Public Safety maintains a cooperative relationship with the Lehman Township Police and the Pennsylvania State Police. Criminal incidents are investigated by campus officers. Assistance in investigations may be requested from the Pennsylvania State Police or the Lehman Township Police for serious criminal incidents.
