Surveying Transfer Students

The 2+3 Baccalaureate Degree Program is available on a case-by-case basis for students who wish to transfer to Penn State from other institutions. In general, the time required to complete the baccalaureate degree in Surveying Engineering for a transfer student is four to six semesters, depending on transfer credits. The applicability of transfer credits depends on the accreditation status of the transfer institution, your grades in the courses (C or higher grades are required for transfer), and the equivalency of the courses. The transferability of surveying-specific courses is determined by program faculty. The transferability of all other courses are determined by the admissions office. The evaluation of transfer courses can begin once you have applied to Penn State for admission into the Surveying Engineering program.

Please contact the Surveying program coordinator (see contact info to the right) or the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Admissions office at 570-675-9229 for more information.
