To download the following packages, right-click the desired item and select “Save target as...” from the pop-up menu. With some files you will need to unzip the installation packages to your disk before you can install them. (Please note: Some of these packages are not compatible with Windows 11.)

Stats* — Stats contains basic statistical routines to support the book Adjustment Computations: Spatial Data Analysis by Dr. Charles Ghilani. (Download Stats program documentation.)

Matrix* — Matrix program performs basic matrix operations of transposition, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and inverse on matrices.

Adjust* —  Adjust contains routines that support the book Adjustment Computations: Spatial Data Analysis by Dr. Charles D. Ghilani.

WolfPack* — WolfPack contains routines that support the book Elementary Surveying: An Introduction to Geomatics by Dr. Charles Ghilani.

Problem Generator* — Problem Generator is a program for instructors that generates realistic data in surveying based on statistical input. (Download Problem Generator documentation.)

Animation of developable surfaces — Animations used in map projections, 2D and 3D coordinate transformations, geodetic coordinate systems, and more! (Note: Cortona3D must be installed to view these files in your web browser. The Cortona viewer is free at Cortona3D Viewers for Windows.)

Adjust MathCAD ebook — MathCAD worksheets for Adjustment Computations, Spatial Data Analysis (Ghilani). These worksheets require the purchase of the MathCAD software. They allow user interaction with the computations.

Adjust MathCAD HTML files – HTML files of MathCAD worksheets for Adjustment Computations, Spatial Data Analysis (Ghilani). These only require an Internet browser, but do not allow user interaction with computations.

Elementary Surveying MathCAD files — MathCAD worksheets for Elementary Surveying: An Introduction to Geomatics (Ghilani). These worksheets require the purchase of the MathCAD software. They allow user interaction with the computations.

Elementary Surveying MathCAD HTML files — HTML files of MathCAD worksheets for Elementary Surveying: An Introduction to Geomatics (Ghilani). These only require an Internet browser, but do not allow user interaction with computations.

Map Projections — Excel file that includes computation sheets for the Mercator, Secant Mercator, Transverse Mercator (including UTM), Oblique Mercator, Albers Equal-Area Conic, and Lambert Conformal Conic plus worksheet for observation reduction, common ellipsoids, and SPCS defining parameters.

Vincenty’s Equations — Excel spreadsheet demonstrating solution of Vincenty’s equations for the direct and inverse geodetic problems. Includes computation sheets for the direct and inverse geodetic problems as presented in Chapter 19 of Elementary Surveying: An Introduction to Geomatics, 13th Ed. (Ghilani).

Astronomical Azimuth handbook — “Astronomical Observations for Azimuth“ (Ghilani)

*This software is Windows based. It has been archived in a self-extracting installer file. To install, download the desired file to a temporary directory and run it in your “explorer“ or “file management“ software. The software will walk you through the remainder of the installation in Windows.
