'Therapy, Themes & Theories of Psychology' on display through end of April

LEHMAN, Pa. — "Therapy, Themes & Theories of Psychology," an art gallery exhibit prepared in collaboration with on-campus clinicians, will be on display in the Friedman Art Gallery at Penn State Wilkes-Barre through the end of April. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

This exhibit features photos of major psychologists; brief descriptions of therapy, themes and theories; and clinician notes from campus faculty members Garrett Huck, Sarah Luvender and Melisa Naylor. As part of the exhibition, a Therapy Day event will be held from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. on Friday, April 21, in the gallery, café and Barry Auditorium. Luvender will lead the session, which is open to all students and faculty and will feature healthy snacks, simple art therapy, coloring, painting and drawing.

"Therapy, Themes, & Theories of Psychology" will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Friedman Art Gallery is a space within the Nesbitt Academic Commons for students and local artists to display their work or for the showing of private collections.
