Group from Penn State Wilkes-Barre attends Advocate Penn State Capital Day

LEHMAN, Pa. — Dale Jones, chancellor of Penn State Wilkes-Barre, and Lynda Goldstein, associate chief academic officer, were joined by campus students for Advocate Penn State Capital Day in Harrisburg on March 20. They met with elected officials to discuss tuition, educational programming, and economic growth, and to share stories of how the University makes valuable contributions to Pennsylvania.

The purpose of Advocate Penn State Capital Day is to raise awareness of the University’s statewide impact and the importance of accessible and affordable higher education. The event was held in the Pennsylvania Capitol Building and was sponsored by Advocate Penn State and the Office of Government and Community Relations.
