Penn State Wilkes-Barre will host a science tournament for hundreds of high school students on March 11. The regional tournament for the Science Olympiad, a national competition, includes participants in middle school and high school from throughout Bradford, Carbon, Clinton, Columbia, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Lycoming, Monroe, Montour, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Tioga, Wayne and Wyoming counties.
Penn State Wilkes-Barre will host its biannual Executive Management Series on Oct. 3. The Discussion will focus on the problem of substance misuse and addiction in our communities. In response, Penn State has created the Consortium to Combat Substance Abuse to fuel innovative research and develop new programs.
