Penn State Wilkes-Barre hosting holiday photos with the Nittany Lion

Community invited for complimentary photos with the Nittany Lion on Dec. 9 in Penn State Wilkes-Barre’s historic Hayfield House

DALLAS, Pa. — Looking for a twist to your typical holiday card? Members of the community are invited to Penn State Wilkes-Barre from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9, for holiday photos with the Nittany Lion inside the campus’ historic Hayfield House. This event is free and open to the public.  

Those taking part are encouraged to capture photos on personal cellphones or cameras. The campus’ Office of Strategic Communications also will be on hand. Hot cider from Brace’s Orchard will be served.

Those planning to attend can review the campus map and driving directions in advance of their visit. In the event of inclement weather, check the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Facebook page for possible rescheduling of the event. Questions should be directed to [email protected].
