Final SAT prep course of the testing cycle offered

Beginning March 14, Penn State Wilkes-Barre will begin hosting its final seven-week SAT preparation course session for the 2016-2017 testing cycle. This course is for students interested in taking the SAT exam for the May 6th and/or June 3rd testing dates.

Penn State has officially launched Let's Grow State, a new crowdfunding platform for fundraising projects across the University. The platform, managed by the Office of Annual Giving in the Division of Development and Alumni Relations, is designed for individuals or groups of Penn Staters to promote and raise money for the ideas, projects, and causes that are important to them.

Dale Jones appointed chancellor at Penn State Wilkes-Barre

Vernon Dale Jones, vice president for strategy, administration and board affairs at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, has been named chancellor and chief academic officer at Penn State Wilkes-Barre. Jones, whose appointment is effective Jan. 16, succeeds Charles Davis, who is retiring after leading the Wilkes-Barre campus since March 2006.
