Penn State Wilkes-Barre, Arts at Hayfield receive collaboration award

Penn State Wilkes-Barre and Arts at Hayfield were recently honored by the Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce with an award honoring their partnership. The new Regional Collaboration Award, which celebrates those who are using collaboration for the betterment of the area, was presented to representatives of both the campus and Arts at Hayfield during the Chamber’s annual dinner.

Penn State Wilkes-Barre food bank expands offerings through partnership

Penn State Wilkes-Barre’s food pantry has a large variety of new items thanks to Child Hunger Outreach Partners (CHOP). CHOP's initial donation, made earlier this semester, brought about 30 bins of food and health and beauty supplies to the campus. The organization will bring deliveries at no cost to the food pantry every two weeks.

All roads lead to Penn State Wilkes-Barre

A visit to Penn State Wilkes-Barre this summer connected Pat Stormer and her husband, Dave, with the legacy of her great-grandfather, Charles Case. Case was the lead carpenter for construction of Hayfield House in the 1930s and built the grand floating staircase inside the home that has been at the centerpiece of Penn State Wilkes-Barre’s campus since 1968.
