Men's Basketball Gets Home Win vs Penn State DuBois

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's basketball team won their home game vs. Penn State DuBois 82-65 on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the team improved to 7-9 overall and 4-3 in the PSUAC. Wilkes-Barre was led by Denzel Mensah's 24 points, while Emmanuel Young added 21 points. During the game, Mensah was honored after he scored his 1,000th point. The team will next play at Penn State Hazleton on Monday, January 19th at 4pm.

Women's Basketball Gets Home Win vs. Penn State DuBois

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre women's basketball team won their home game vs. Penn State DuBois 48- 41 on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the team improved to 5-7 overall (2-4 PSAUC), and have now won two straight games. Wilkes-Barre was led by Breana Moore's 12 points, while Sierra McLaughlin added 11 points. The team will next play against Penn State Worthington Scranton at home next Friday, January 24th at 6pm.

Inspiration and the achievement of the human spirit are the focal point of these refreshing international films selected by the Penn State Wilkes-Barre International Campus Committee.

Women's Basketball Gets Road Win at Penn State Schuylkill

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre women's basketball team won their away game at Penn State Schuylkill 45-42 on Thursday night. With the win, the team won their first PSUAC game and improved to 4-7 overall and 1-4 in the PSUAC. Wilkes-Barre was led by Breana Moore's 14 points, while Katelyn McLaughlin added 13 points. Wilkes-Barre will look to capitalize on this victory by beating Penn State DuBois at home on Saturday January 17th at 1pm.

Men's Basketball Gets Road Win at Penn State Schuylkill

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's basketball team won their away game at Penn State Schuylkill 67-51 on Thursday night. With the win, the team improved to 6-9 overall and 3-3 in PSUAC conference play. Wilkes-Barre was led by Denzel Mensah's 24 points, while Robert Heft added 12 points. The team shot 50% from the field and 36.4% from behind the arc. The team will next play against Penn State DuBois at home this Saturday, January 17th at 3pm.

Hollywood Themed MiniTHON Scheduled

On Friday, January 30th and Saturday, January 31st, Penn State Wilkes-Barre will be holding its second annual MiniTHON, a 12 Hour Hollywood themed Dance Marathon benefiting THON.

2nd Annual Senior Night White Out Planned

On Thursday, February 12th, the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Departments of Athletics & Student Affairs will be holding its 2nd Annual Senior Night White Out to recognize all graduating student-athletes. Senior student-athletes from the variation of all eight sports at Penn State Wilkes-Barre will be recognized for their dedication to their team and campus. A Men's and Women's Basketball Double Header will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Athletics and Recreation Building on the Penn State Wilkes-Barre campus, with events intertwined throughout the evening.

Men's Basketball Loses Close Battle with Kings

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's basketball team (5-9 overall, 2-3 PSUAC) played NCAA Division III's Kings College tough all game before falling 56-53 on Saturday afternoon. Wilkes-Barre was led by Denzel Mensah with a game high of 20 points, while Robert Heft added 15 points.

Men's Basketball Defeated at NCAA DIII's Wilkes University

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's basketball team (5-7 overall, 2-3 PSUAC) fought hard before falling at NCAA Division III opponent Wilkes University 78-53 on Thursday night. Denzel Mensah led Wilkes-Barre in scoring with 15 points, while Austin Walker added 12 points. AJ Jones led the team with 11 rebounds.
