Penn State Wilkes-Barre Falls to Penn State Beaver in Double Header

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre baseball team lost both of their games vs. Penn State Beaver on April 16th. In the first of the two games, Wilkes-Barre fell 7-2. Frank Brodi and Jeffrey Carter had the only two runs of the game. Adamczyk had a hit and an RBI and was walked once, and Carter had the other RBI in the game. In the second game of the afternoon's doubleheader, Wilkes-Barre fell to Beaver 14-4. Alex Klinger had a run, two hits and an RBI; Richard Portugal had two hits and a run; Jeffrey Carter had a run and two hits; and Lawrence Youngblood had a hit and a run. After the two games were over, Penn State Wilkes-Barre fell to 0-6 and Penn State Beaver improved to 12-10. Penn State Wilkes-Barre will face Worthington Scranton on Saturday, April 18th at home; this will be a doubleheader, with the first of the games starting at 2pm.
