On Saturday, January 30th, Penn State Wilkes-Barre will be holding their first "Dance On, Fight On Benefiting THON" Zumba event.
The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, affectionately known as THON, is the largest student-run philanthropy in the world. THON, a yearlong effort to raise funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer, has raised more than $127 million for Four Diamonds at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital since 1977. THON 2016 will take place from February 19th - 21st, 2016 at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center.
Penn State dedicated the next phase of the Innovation Squared Project, an economic development project that will foster job creation, as well as develop and implement a dual entrepreneurial ecosystem and mentorship program for Downtown Wilkes-Barre.
