Conduct of Students
Enrollment in the University carries with it obligations in regard to conduct not only inside but outside the classroom. Students are expected to conduct themselves in such a manner as to be a credit both to themselves and the University. They are subject to the laws governing the community as well as to the rules and regulations of the University as found at University Park’s Student Affairs Office of Student Conduct. Students are bound by the University Code of Conduct, a set of standards which governs the behavior of all members of the University.
The Judicial System
The Penn State Judicial System is a means of implementing adjudication procedures for students accused of violations of the University Code of Conduct. Disciplinary procedures are implemented on the University campus where an infraction has occurred regardless of where the concerned student or students may be attending classes in the University system. It is the responsibility of students visiting any other University campus to be cognizant of the rules and regulations that are pertinent to that campus. Disciplinary action at Penn State Wilkes-Barre is handled by Wanda Ochei, Director of Student Services and Engagement, 675-9225, Hayfield House 101A.
