Damage to University Property

Students are expected to give proper care to the buildings, furniture, and instructional equipment. If a student damages furniture or equipment through neglect or carelessness, or if laboratory equipment assigned to him or her is damaged due to failure to follow the instructor’s directions, the cost of the repair or replacement will be charged against the student’s general deposit. If a student damages furniture, instructional equipment, or other University property inside or outside campus buildings, he or she should report the damage immediately to the business office (Hayfield House 112). Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action. It is expected that students at Penn State Wilkes-Barre will continue the exemplary precedent of respect for their campus.
