Penn State Wilkes-Barre to hold open house on Oct. 7

LEHMAN, Pa. — Prospective students and their families are invited to visit Penn State Wilkes-Barre during an open house on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to noon.

The open house will include campus tours along with details about the admissions process, academic program options, financial aid, athletics, housing options, student engagement opportunities and more. Prospective students can also meet faculty, staff, students and alumni. Members of the Admissions team and Student Affairs department will be at the event to answer questions.

Penn State Wilkes-Barre offers several bachelor’s and associate degree programs that can be completed at the campus. Students can also begin one of more than 275 degree programs offered by Penn State, spending the first two years at Penn State Wilkes-Barre before transitioning to another Penn State campus, including University Park (the 2+2 Plan).

By attending an open house, prospective students will have their Penn State application fee waived.
