Penn State Wilkes-Barre has announced the students named to its fall 2021 dean’s list. To be eligible, undergraduate students must achieve a one-semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.

Penn State University Libraries invites Penn State students, faculty and staff to submit original short stories or poetry centered on the theme “Written in the Stars” to the spring short stories writing contest, accepting submissions from Feb. 24 to April 4.
Researchers from Penn State Wilkes-Barre will present their findings from a national study examining the link between happiness and crime, on Friday, Feb. 25, at 12:15 p.m. The Research Showcase Series event will be held in the Tech Center 101 Auditorium and is open to the campus community and the public.
Penn State Alumni Association members will soon find it easier to engage with the University in their local communities, after a change to how they access local chapters takes effect later this year. Alumni Association CEO Paul Clifford previewed the change for the Board of Trustees Committee on Outreach, Development and Community Relations during its Feb. 17 meeting.
