Lynda Goldstein, associate professor of English at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, has been named interim chancellor and chief academic officer at the campus. In addition to serving in numerous other leadership positions, Goldstein was Wilkes-Barre’s interim chancellor from August 2005 to March 2006.
Yuri Pelepko-Filak, who recently took a managerial position at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, credits his nursing management certificate from Penn State Wilkes-Barre with preparing him for his new role. Pelepko-Filak earned a promotion shortly after completing the certificate program.
The HUB-Robeson Center will host an exhibit, "What Were You Wearing?", from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 8, room TBD. More information is available here.

A gift from father and son Robert Tambur and Robert Tamburro will create the first program endowment to help fund Penn State Wilkes-Barre’s IDEA Hub, which supports innovation and entrepreneurship in northeastern Pennsylvania.
