Dale Jones, chancellor of Penn State Wilkes-Barre, Lynda Goldstein, associate chief academic officer, and campus students met with elected officials to discuss tuition, educational programming, and economic growth, and to share stories of how the University makes valuable contributions to Pennsylvania.
Entrepreneurs across the University will pitch their business ideas and create inventive solutions to common problems through a series of competitions and challenges held during Penn State Startup Week from April 1-5. The challenges are at the heart of Startup Week’s mission of teaching and inspiring participants to make innovation a part of their lives, communities and careers, either by starting their own companies or bringing a problem-solving approach to established organizations.
Entrepreneurial students pitch their idea at the IdeaMakers Challenge during the 2018 Penn State Startup Week. This year's weeklong event, to be held April 1-5, 2019, will offer a number of competitions and challenges for students and University community members to pitch their ideas and create inventive solutions to common problems.
