Penn State Wilkes-Barre women's volleyball split their quad meet at Penn State Worthington Scranton. This brings Penn State Wilkes-Barre's record to 11-2. They won to Penn State Greater Allegheny 25-15, 25-18, and 25-16 and they fell to Penn State Fayette 10-25, 18-25, and 22-25.  Wilkes-Barre's Meghan Murtagh led the team with 23 service points and 52 assists and Karlee Kenney added 28 digs.
Penn State Wilkes-Barre won both of their two matches 3-0 against Penn State New Kensington and Penn State Beaver. Their scores were 25-12, 25-14, and 25-5 against Penn State New Kensington and 25-12, 25-15, and 25-20 with Penn State Beaver. Wilkes-Barre's Abigail Collins led her team with 30 service points and 7 aces. Meghan Murtagh also helped guide the team with her 64 assists. Tiffany Denny-Rochester added 12 strong kills and 9 key blocks. They have two games tomorrow against Penn State Fayette and Penn State Greater Allegheny at the Penn State Worthington Scr
Penn State Wilkes-Barre's Kellie Yekel has been named PSUAC Volleyball Player of the Week. Kellie, a sophomore, plays outside hitter and had 97 kills in five matches. Wilkes-Barre was 5-0 in that span.
