The Penn State Woman's Volleyball Team won the first round of playoffs against Penn State Beaver 3-0. The scores were 25-15, 25-19, and 25-21. Wilkes-Barre's Kellie Yekel had 13 service points, 2 aces, and 11 kills. Tiffany Denny-Rochester added 13 service points, 3 aces, and 6 kills. Wilkes-Barre will now advance to the second round of playoffs, which will take place at 7:00 pm on Friday, October 21, at University Park Rec Hall. If they win on Friday, their Championship Game is scheduled for Saturday at 2:30 at Rec Hall.
