Applications are now being accepted for the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania (TCCP) Women in Mentoring program. Students, faculty and staff across all Penn State campuses have free access to virtual technology programming thanks to a partnership with TCCP spearheaded by Penn State Harrisburg, a longtime member of the council.
Fourteen Penn State instructors from eight campuses and three colleges worked with Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) over the past summer and fall as part of the 2022-23 TLT Faculty Engagement Awards program. Their goal was to enhance the student engagement experience using Experiential Virtual Spaces.
Andrew Zimmerman came to Penn State Wilkes-Barre with the intention of moving on to University Park after two years. But after getting immersed in his information technology major, he decided to stay at the local campus to complete his degree.
She’s nothing if not adaptable: from an elementary-school teacher in Europe to a college professor in the U.S.; from a business instructor to an IST professor; and from teaching in person to delivering Zoom classes. Now, after more than 20 years at the campus, Frouke de Quillettes has taught her last course at Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
