You can enhance Penn State Wilkes-Barre’s excellence by giving in a variety of ways: endowments, scholarships, a planned giving program, faculty support or through a number of creative ways to support our campus needs.
Endowments — An endowed scholarship or award can be named in honor or memory of a special individual or group. Named endowments stand in perpetuity as landmarks to benefit many future generations of Penn State Wilkes-Barre students.
Scholarships — Scholarships provide funds to students seeking financial assistance to support tuition. Please refer to our complete listing of available endowed scholarships which gives a brief background on each scholarship and the recipients of those funds for this current academic year. Unrestricted scholarship funds are secured every year via our Annual Fund for Academic Excellence; this pool of scholarship funds provides support to the largest number of students needing assistance.
Planned Giving — Leaving a legacy by utilizing one of many planned giving options is a thoughtful means of helping students. These programs provide benefits to you now and in the future, while benefiting Penn State for generations to come.
Corporations & Foundations — By collaborating with corporations and foundations, Penn State Wilkes-Barre students are able to realize the benefit of their philosophy to “give back” to a community via philanthropic or program support. Many donors are able to double the impact of their personal philanthropy as the result of many matching gifts programs supported by these generous entities.
Program Support — There are many opportunities available to enrich the academic, social and cultural aspects of Penn State Wilkes-Barre.
Faculty Support — Provide special teaching and research materials, library acquisitions, salary supplements, and travel assistance.
