Penn State Wilkes-Barre to offer a variety of summer online courses for credit

LEHMAN, Pa. — Penn State Wilkes-Barre has announced 28 for-credit courses that will be available for online completion this summer. The three-credit courses (selective courses are four-credit) cover a variety of subject areas and will be held during three sessions.

Maymester: May 8th through June 5th

  • CMPSC 203: Introduction to Spreadsheets and Databases (4 credits)
  • ENGL 202C: Effective Writing: Technical Writing
  • ENGL 202D: Effective Writing: Business Writing
  • GAME 160: Introduction to Video Game Culture
  • GEOSC 30: Volcanos
  • IB 303: International Business Operations
  • INART 115: The Popular Arts in America: Popular Music
  • IST 402: Emerging Issues and Technologies
  • KINES 82: Action Methods for Stress Management
  • MATH 22: College Algebra II and Analytic Geometry
  • MATH 110: Techniques of Calculus I (4 credits)
