LEHMAN, Pa. — The Penn State Wilkes-Barre Alumni Constituent Society will host a Rose Bowl party on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, to celebrate the Nittany Lions' incredible season, which culminated in a Big Ten championship.
The party, scheduled for No. 5 Penn State’s matchup against the No. 9 University of Southern California Trojans, gets underway 30 minutes before the game’s 5 p.m. kickoff at the River Grille, located at 670 North River Street in Wilkes-Barre. All beer, wine and mixed drinks will be half price between 5 and 8 p.m. Burgers with a choice of a side will also be offered for special price of $6. The opportunity to participate in a raffle and a 50/50 drawing will also be available.
While this event is pay as you go, the alumni society will need to have an idea of how many people will be attending. A reservation of attendance is requested no later than Dec. 31. Wear your blue and white and come cheer our Nittany Lions to victory!
