In today’s global marketplace, engineers who possess both technical and leadership skills can move to the front of the talent pool. This credit certificate is designed to enhance engineering education and provide essential leadership competencies. Effective techniques of project management and leadership principles and practices as they relate to business in technical fields will be taught. This is a short-term formal academic credential from Penn State in Leadership for Engineers that is earned upon successful completion of the three required courses.
Leadership for Engineers is a nine-credit certificate designed for engineering professionals who have recently taken on a leadership role or anticipate one in the future. This program provides essential leadership skills in a conveniently assembled credit certificate. An undergraduate engineering degree in any discipline is a prerequisite.
