Penn State Wilkes-Barre Students Receive more than $500,000

Penn State Wilkes-Barre recently held its annual Scholarship Dinner at Appletree Terrace at Newberry Estates in Dallas, Pa.  This event recognizes donors who have endowed scholarships and awards at Penn State Wilkes-Barre and brings those donors together with their respective scholarship and award recipients.  This year more than 200 students received scholarships and awards totaling more than $500,000.

Students are selected for scholarships primarily based on academic excellence, service to the campus and community, and outstanding leadership.
