Penn State Wilkes-Barre recently presented its outgoing Advisory Board Chair, Dr. Carol Sabatini, with a Nittany Lion sculpture in recognition of her service to the campus.
A member of the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Advisory Board since 1994, Dr. Sabatini received the Hayfield Award for Volunteerism for chairing a year-long University project to assess the needs of the campus in order to establish five-year goals in 1998. Serving as the Advisory Board Chair since 2009, she continued and strengthened her support of the campus.
A resident of Wyoming, Pa., Dr. Sabatini is an inveterate world traveler and remains active in volunteer organizations as time allows.
