The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's basketball team lost their first game of the new year at Division II's Shippensburg University on Tuesday night. Wilkes-Barre started the game off well, leading 32-29 at half time before falling 53-86. Wilkes-Barre was led by freshman Denzel Mensah with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Sophomore Keith Johnson added 10 points. Wilkes-Barre will next play host to Thaddeus Stevens on Thursday night, January 4th at 7:00 pm.
