The Penn State Wilkes-Barre women's basketball team (5-12 overall, 3-6 PSUAC) was defeated at home, 63-71, by PSUAC rival Penn State Fayette on Saturday afternoon. Wilkes-Barre was led by sophomores Tiaira Brathwaite and Molly Dincher, who each had a double-double. Brathwaite scored 17 points and pulled down 11 rebounds, while Dincher put up 10 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Junior Catherine Beach added 14 points and 8 rebounds, while sophomore Michele Vowler scored 13 points and grabbed 9 rebounds for Wilkes-Barre. Wilkes-Barre's next game is at home on Thursday, February 2, at 6:00 pm against Penn College.
