Baseball Drops PSUAC Opener at Greater Allegheny

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's baseball team lost both games of a double-header in their first PSUAC match-up of the season against Penn State Greater Allegheny on Saturday afternoon. With a young squad on the field against Greater Allegheny, Wilkes-Barre lost 0-13 in the first game and 0-10 in the second game. Freshman pitcher Robert Vollmer (0-2) took the loss for Wilkes-Barre in the first game, while Wilkes-Barre junior pitcher Matt Kempinski (0-1) took the loss in the second game.  In a rebuilding season, Wilkes-Barre is 0-5 overall and 0-2 in the PSUAC. Wilkes-Barre next heads to Penn State Fayette for their second PSUAC match-up on Monday, March 26th at 11:30 am.
