Baseball Drops Pair at Brandywine

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre baseball team (4-11 overall; 4-8 PSUAC) dropped both games of a double header against PSUAC rival Penn State Brandywine on Friday. In the first game, Wilkes-Barre fell to Brandywine 1-5. Sophomore Kyle LeValley had a double for Wilkes-Barre. Freshman Zach Yursha hit a solo homerun to score Wilkes-Barre's only RBI of the game. Pitcher junior Matt Kempinski took the loss for Wilkes-Barre. In the second game, Wilkes-Barre lost 3-10 to Brandywine. Yursha batted in two runs for Wilkes-Barre. Wilkes-Barre starting pitcher, freshman Robert Vollmer was given the loss. Wilkes-Barre next plays at Wilkes University in a single game match-up on Thursday, April 12th at 3:30 pm.
