The Penn State Wilkes-Barre baseball team lost two games in a double-header against NCAA Division III Marywood University on Sunday afternoon. In the first game Wilkes-Barre lost to Marywood, 3-8. Freshman Ryan Goodwin had a double and a RBI for Wilkes-Barre, while junior Robert Bisson and freshman Ed Moffett each batted in one run for Wilkes-Barre. Starting pitcher, junior Matt Kempinski took the loss for Wilkes-Barre. In the second game, Wilkes-Barre fell 4-13 to Marywood. Freshman Zach Yursha had a triple and two RBI's for Wilkes-Barre, while Goodwin and Kempinski each had a double and one RBI. Wilkes-Barre's starting pitcher, freshman Kyle Colarusso, took the loss. With the two losses, Wilkes-Barre's overall record falls to 6-14, but they still remain 6-8 in the PSUAC. Wilkes-Barre will next take the field at home on Tuesday, April 17th at 4:00 pm in a single game match-up against Wilkes University.
