Baseball Drops Last Double-Header of the Season

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre baseball team lost their final two regular season games on the road against Penn State Mont Alto on Tuesday afternoon. Wilkes-Barre fell to Mont Alto in the first game with a final score of 1-7. During the game freshman Ed Moffet doubled for Wilkes-Barre, while fellow freshman Ryan Goodwin stole a base and scored Wilkes-Barre's one run. Starting pitcher junior Matt Kempenski took the loss for Wilkes-Barre. Wilkes-Barre fell to Mont Alto again in the second game, with a final score of 2-7. Freshmen Zach Yursha had Wilkes-Barre's only RBI of the game. Pitcher senior Pete Kelly started the game for Wilkes-Barre and took the loss. In a rebuilding year, the Penn State Wilkes-Barre baseball team finishes out their regular season with 6-19 overall record and a 6-12 record in the PSUAC.
