The Penn State Wilkes-Barre (0-1) Men's Basketball team couldn't come up with the win Friday evening as they traveled to Johnson College for their season opener. The Mountain Lions came up just short, falling 73-70. Despite losing, Penn State Wilkes-Barre showed some positives, with five different players scoring in double figures. The team was led by sophomore Bre'yan Jones who finished with 14 points. Freshman Jesse O'Connell finished with 12 points and senior Travis Dunlap, junior Keith Johnson, and sophomore Will Danwah all had 11 points. Johnson, a junior had an impressive game, nearly missing a double-double as he contributed 11 points and 9 assists. Penn State Wilkes-Barre will be idle until the Lycoming Tournament which is scheduled for the weekend of November 16-17.
