Men's Basketball Falls in the Lycoming Tournament

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre (0-3) Men's Basketball team couldn't find that connection to pull out their first win in the Lycoming Tip-Off Tournament during the weekend. In Wilkes-Barre's first game of the tournament, they lost to a very strong Lycoming team, 88-45. Their second game, the consolation game, they lost to SUNY Old Westbury by a score of 97-53. Against Lycoming, the only scorer who reached double figures was sophomore Denzel Mensah. He led the Mountain Lions with scoring 14 points to go along with nine rebounds and three steals. Sophomore Drew Walker contributed nine points on a 3-6 shooting from behind the arc. Against SUNY Old Westbury, Mensah led his team again with scoring 10 points. Freshman Jesse O'Connell added nine points while sophomore Bre'yan Jones had nine rebounds. Penn State Wilkes-Barre will be back in action on Tuesday, November 20th when they travel to Lock Haven for a non-conference game for 7:00pm.
