Mountain Lions Can't Keep Lead in First Half, Fall to Brandywine in Overtime

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre (3-5, 1-2 PSUAC) Women's Basketball team took at 30-21 lead going into halftime but couldn't hold up that lead before losing in overtime to Penn State Brandywine 76-64. Despite the loss, three players scored in double figures for the Mountain Lions, with junior Tiffany Denny-Rochester carrying the offense by scoring 23 points while pulling down 17 rebounds. Junior Tiaira Brathwaite had 19 points, and freshman point guard Jalicia Robinson added 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists. Wilkes-Barre will continue its series of road games on Wednesday, December 5 with a trip to Williamsport to take on Penn College. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
