On Friday, October 11th, the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Alumni Constituent Society and Penn State Wilkes-Barre students are offering a bus trip to University Park to walk in the annual Homecoming Parade. The bus will depart from the Penn State Wilkes-Barre gym parking lot at 1 p.m., returning to campus around midnight. All ages are invited to attend to show their Penn State pride! The trip costs $15 per person and includes bus transportation, t-shirt, and dinner. Seating is limited and a sellout is expected.
On Saturday, November 9th, the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Alumni Constituent Society will host its annual TV Tailgate Party for the Penn State fans in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The party, scheduled once again for Penn State's match-up against the Minnesota Golden Gophers, boasts tailgate style food and drinks, as well as a halftime raffle and a 50/50 drawing. The party gets underway half an hour before the game's kickoff at the River Grille in Wilkes-Barre, and wraps up a half hour after the game ends. The official game time has not yet been released but will either be a noon or 3:30 pm start. Cost per person is $28, and all attendees must be 21 or older. This event has always been a sellout; please reserve your tickets early.
