The Penn State Wilkes-Barre women's basketball team lost to Centenary College by a score of 49-60 in the first round of the Lady Cyclone Tip-Off Tournament. Wilkes-Barre's overall record moved to 1-2. The Lady Mountain Lions kept it close for most of the game against the NCAA Division III opponent. Freshman Kian Wright ended the night with fifteen points, twelve rebounds, four steals, and three blocks, while freshman Brenna Moore added eighteen points and five rebounds. Penn State Wilkes-Barre will next play College of St. Elizabeth on Saturday.
