Women's Basketball Win Conference Opener

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre Women's Basketball team won their PSUAC conference opener on Tuesday night, defeating Penn State Worthington Scranton by a score of 59-54. Wilkes-Barre's record moved to 3-6 overall and 1-0 in PSUAC. Junior Tiaira Brathwaite finished the night with a double-double, scoring seventeen points and grabbing twelve rebounds. Freshman Katelyn McLaughlin added sixteen points, while sophomore Jalicia Robinson also added eleven points, five rebounds and five steals. Penn State Wilkes-Barre will next play on Friday at home against Penn State DuBois at 6:00 pm.
