Spring Executive Management Series Announced

On Thursday, April 10th, join Dr. Charles Davis and the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Continuing Education department for their Executive Management Series, co-sponsored by the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce. The Executive Management Series is held at The Convention Center in Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs Hotel in Wilkes-Barre, beginning at 7:45 a.m.

The Past, Present, and Future of Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs with Mike Bean will show the growth of Mohegan Sun over time and the vision to make Northeast Pennsylvania a regional family entertainment destination. A question and answer period will immediately follow the session. An optional tour of the facility will be offered after the program.

Mike Bean is President of Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Since joining Mohegan Sun in 2005, Mike has played an integral role in the successful opening, operation and continued development of Pennsylvania's first casino. Prior to Mohegan Sun, Mike worked at some of the largest and most reputable gaming operations in the country, including Harrah's Entertainment, Boyd Gaming, and Foxwoods Resort Casino. Mike serves on various boards of directors, including the Volunteers of America, Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business and Industry, Scranton Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Wyoming Valley, Northeastern Pennsylvania Alliance, and Luzerne County Community College Foundation. Mike holds a Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant College with concentrations in Marketing and Business Communications. Mr. Bean resides in Moosic, Pennsylvania with his wife Julie and their two children, Matthew, 14 and Emma, 11.

Cost is $15.00 per person. Payment in full must accompany your registration form. E-mail, fax, or telephone registration must be accompanied by your credit card information. Five business days will be required to cancel a registration and not incur the registration fee. Substitution for registered participants will be accepted.
