The Mountain Lions had a close first game against Penn State Brandywine, dropping it just 4-2. The only runs for this game were scored by Portugal and Weiss, while Mazonkey and Weiss put up the two RBIs. In game two it was another close loss, 7-3, where Portugal and Weiss scored again along with Sherry. Weiss, Carter and Mazonkey recorded RBIs in game two.
Despite the cancellations and tough conference schedule, the Penn State Wilkes-Barre baseball team pushed through the season and gave it their all. They ended the season 5-13 overall and in the PSUAC, which is not what they hoped for; however, they are looking to improve for the next season and will be putting their best foot forward. Congratulations to everyone on a job well done this season!
