The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's and women's cross-country teams competed at the PSUAC Championships on Saturday afternoon at University Park, PA. Four runners earned PSUAC All-Conference honors.
In the men's 8k race, freshman Kyle Borland came in 3rd place with a time of 31:39, earning PSUAC All-Conference honors. Senior Tyler Shelly finished 6th overall with a time of 33:14, also earning All-Conference honors. Freshman Joseph Borland finished in the top 20, ending up 18th.
In the women's 6k race, senior Becky Wychock and junior Ashley Oliver both earned PSUAC All-Conference recognition for finishing 2nd and 4th, respectively. Wychock finished with a time of 26:18, and Oliver finished with a time of 26:57. Freshman Lharizza Metz finished in the top 20, ending the race in 19th place.
