Men's Basketball Defeats Penn State Worthington Scranton

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's basketball team won their home game vs. Penn State Worthington Scranton 78-70 on Friday night. After trailing 5-0 in the first minute of the first half, Wilkes-Barre never stopped scoring; in fact they didn't trail for the rest of the game. Wilkes-Barre was led in scoring by Austin Walker's 20 points. Anthony Kaiser also contributed to the win with his numerous 3 pointers, which always seemed to energize the team. With the win, the team improved to a .500 record of 9-9 and 6-3 in PSUAC. The team is currently riding a four-game win streak, which has moved them into third place in the conference. The team plays Penn State Greater Allegheny at 8pm this Friday night at home.
