Wilkes-Barre Women's Basketball Falls to Penn State Schuylkill

The Penn State Wilkes-Barre women's basketball team lost their final regular season game against Penn State Schuylkill on Thursday evening, 64-57 in the ARB. With the loss the team falls to 5-13 overall and 3-11 in the PSUAC. The Lady Mountain Lions were led by Breana Moore's 23 points, while Katelyn McLaughlin and Sierra Eskridge each contributed 11 points. Overall, it was a great match up and the score does not give the Lady Lions enough credit. They fell behind late but charged back within 1 point in the closing minutes. With players in foul trouble, the team couldn't be as aggressive as they wanted to be, and in the end Schuylkill came away with the victory. The Lady Lion's season is now over, but they will look towards preparing for next season with their young talent.
