The Penn State Wilkes-Barre men's basketball team won their final regular season game vs. Penn State Schuylkill on Thursday evening, 79-63 in the ARB. With the win, the team improves to 13-11 overall and 10-5 in the PSUAC, securing their 4th seed in the playoffs. The Mountain Lions were led by Denzel Mensah's 20 points, while Robert Heft contributed 14, going 4-7 from 3-point range. Denzel Mensah and AJ Jones demonstrated why they were among the senior athletes honored that evening: AJ was dominant in the paint, getting 10 rebounds, and Denzel continuously set the pace in the game. The team is going to look to ride this win throughout the playoffs. The first game in the playoffs is on Wednesday at 6pm vs. Worthington Scranton, with whom they split the series this season.
